The plan covers any accidental damage, including water. I bought the laptop last year on black Friday. It is the HP dv6000 series. If my Laptop breaks to a point that it cannot be fixed, the plan says that it will REPLACE the laptop. If, by next year, the lap top becomes unfixable, will i receive a newer laptop? or the same one?

With most items i have had under policy that have broekn its always been like for like so i would have thought that they will give the the nearest spec they can to the one you have broken or might get broken

The same one. If, for some reason, they are out of stock of yours, they may decide to upgrade you, but not much. You will not be able to cheat them so easily.
